Good Questions — Straight Answers
Pressure washing isn't something most people think about every day. Here are the answers to the questions we hear most often from Coffee County homeowners.
Pressure washing uses high-pressure water (2,000–4,000 PSI) to physically blast dirt, grime, and stains off hard surfaces like concrete and brick. Soft washing uses low pressure (under 500 PSI) combined with specialized cleaning solutions that kill mold, mildew, algae, and bacteria at the root. Soft washing is the only safe method for roofs, siding, stucco, painted wood, and any surface that high pressure could damage. We choose the method based on what your surface needs — never one-size-fits-all.
If done wrong, yes — and unfortunately, that happens a lot with inexperienced operators. That's exactly why we soft wash all siding and painted surfaces. Our low-pressure approach uses cleaning solutions that do the work chemically, not physically. No lifted siding, no water forced behind your walls, no paint stripped off. Your home exterior gets clean without taking a beating.
In Alabama's humid climate, most homes benefit from exterior washing every 12–18 months. Green algae, black mold, and mildew thrive in our warm, damp conditions. You'll usually notice it on the north-facing side of your house first (less sun exposure = slower drying). We'll give you a personalized recommendation after we inspect your property, but annually is a safe bet for most Coffee County homes.
Yes. We use biodegradable, eco-friendly cleaning solutions. Before we start any soft wash job, we pre-wet all plants and vegetation with fresh water to protect them, and we cover delicate landscaping. We rinse everything thoroughly when we're done. Our detergents break down naturally in the environment. That said, we recommend keeping pets indoors during the actual cleaning just as a precaution.
Not at all. As long as we have access to an outdoor water spigot and can reach all sides of your property, you can go about your day. We'll communicate with you beforehand about what we're doing, send before-and-after photos when we're finished, and leave your property exactly as we found it — except a whole lot cleaner.
A standard single-family home exterior wash takes about 2–4 hours from setup to final rinse. Larger homes, heavy growth, or add-on services like driveway cleaning or gutter clearing will add time. We'll give you a time estimate with your quote so there are no surprises.
Those black streaks are Gloeocapsa magma — a type of cyanobacteria (blue-green algae) that's extremely common on asphalt shingle roofs in the Southeast. It's not just cosmetic; it feeds on the limestone filler in your shingles and can reduce your roof's lifespan over time. Our roof-specific soft wash kills it completely at the root and restores your roof's original color. Most importantly, our method is ARMA-approved and won't void your shingle warranty.
Every property is different, so we quote each job individually. For residential work, most jobs start around $199 and scale based on square footage, surface type, condition, and what services you need. We provide free, no-obligation quotes — you'll always know the price before we start. No hidden fees, no upsells you don't need.
We're based in Elba, Alabama, and serve all of Coffee County and surrounding areas within about a 30-mile radius. That includes Enterprise, New Brockton, Kinston, Coffee Springs, Jack, Brundidge, Troy, Opp, and everywhere in between. If you're just outside that radius, give us a call — we may still be able to help.
Yes — we carry full general liability insurance. Pressure washing involves water, equipment, and sometimes working at height near gutters and roof lines. You should never hire a pressure washing company that can't show proof of insurance. We're happy to provide our certificate on request.
We focus on exterior surface cleaning — siding, roofs, driveways, decks, fences, and commercial exteriors. We don't offer dedicated window cleaning as a standalone service, but we do wash exterior windows as part of a full house wash when they're reachable from the ground. If you need interior or detailed window cleaning, we're happy to recommend a local window specialist.
Light rain doesn't stop us — the cleaning solutions need to dwell on the surface anyway, and a little extra water doesn't hurt. Heavy rain or thunderstorms will push us to reschedule, and we'll reach out to coordinate the next available date that works for you. We're flexible and Alabama weather is unpredictable; we'll figure it out together.
